ग्लूकोज `(C_(6)H_(12)O_(6))` का अणुभार = 180
`:. 120 g` ग्लूकोज से प्राप्त कुल ऊर्जा `= (2880)/(1080) xx 120 = 1920 kJ`
मांसपेशीय (muscular) कार्य के लिए उपलब्ध ऊर्जा
`= (1920 xx 25)/(100) = 480 kJ`
`:.` चली गई दूरी `= (480)/(100) = 4.8` km
