चूँकि ताप स्थिर है, अतः बॉयल के नियमानुसार,
`P_(1)V_(1) = P_(2)V_(2)`
`P_(1) = 1.2 "bar, " P_(2) = ?`
`V_(1) = 120 mL, " " V_(2) = 180 mL`
`P_(2) = (P_(1)V_(1))/(V_(2)) = (1.2 xx 120)/(180) = 0.8` bar
