The chemical equation for the reaction is :
`{:(CuCO_(2),overset("Heat")(rarr),CuO+CO_(2)),(63.5+12+48,,63.5+16),(=123.5g,,=79.5g):}`
123.5 g of copper carbonate upon heating given `Cu = 79.5 g`
1.0 g of copper carbonate upon heating gives `Cu = (79.5)/(123.5)g`
`:. 12.35` g of copper carbonate upon heating give `Cu = (79.5)/(123.5)xx12.35` g = `7.95` g
