Noble gases except `Xe` and `Kr` do not form chemical compounds. Therefore, the atomic radii of `Xe` and `Kr` can be expressed in terms of either van der Waals radii or covalent radii. `Xe` and `Kr` ussually form compounds with fluorine and oxygen.
