Extraction of `Al` from `Al_(2)O_(3)` is made by electrolytic reduction of molten mixture of alumina `(Al_(2)O_(3))`, cryolite `(Na_(3)AlF_(6))` and flurspar `CaF_(2)` in the ratio of `20:40:20` respectively.
