गुटके पर कार्यरत बल -
(1) भार (mg) , (2) अभिलम्ब प्रतिक्रिया (R )
(3) आरोपित बल (F) , (4) घर्षण बल (f)
प्रश्नानुसार, `m = 20` किग्रा, `F = 100` न्यूटन
F के घटक, क्षैतिज : `F cos 30^(@)`
उर्ध्वाधर : `F sin 30^(@)`

चित्र से, `R + F sin 30^(@) = mg`
`R = mg - F sin 30^(@) = 20 xx 9.8 - 100 xx 1/2 = 146` न्यूटन
अतः घर्षण बल `f = f_(k) = mu_(k) R = 0.10 xx 146 = 14.6` न्यूटन
यदि गुटके का त्वरण a हो तो क्षैतिज गति के लिये
`F cos 30^(@) - f = ma`
`100 xx (sqrt(3))/(2) - 14.6 = 20a`
`86.6 - 14.6 = 20a`
`:. a = 72/20 = 3.6 "मीटर"//"सेकण्ड"^(2)`
