माना कण की समय - विस्थापन समीकरण ` y = A sin (omegat+phi)` है ।
प्रश्नानुसार , t = 0 पर y=A, तब ` A = A sin (0+phi)`
` :. Sin phi = 1 " अथवा " phi =pi/2`
अतः कण की समय - विस्थापन समीकरण
` y = A sin (omegat +pi//2) = A cos omegat`
समय वेग समीकरण ` upsilon = (dy)/(dt) = - A omega sin omega t`
समय -त्वरण समीकरण ` a = (dupsilon)/(dt) = - A omega^(2) cos omega t `
