`AgBr=4.08xx10^(-7)"mol"L^(-1)`
द्वी -अंगी लवण के लिए `K_(sp)=s^(2)` चूँकि `AgSCN` तथा `AgBr` दोनों द्वी-अंगी लवण है अतः
AgSCN की विलेयता `sqrt(1xxx10^(-12))=1xx10^(-6)"mol"^(-1)`
`AgBr` की विलेयता `sqrt(5xx10^(-13))=7.07xx10^(-7)"mol"L^(-1)`
माना `AgSCN` तथा `AgBr` की एक साथ (simultaneous) विलेयताएँ क्रमश x तथा y है अतः
`AgSCNhArr underset(x)(Ag^(+))+underset(x)(SCN^(-))`
`AgBrhArr underset(y)(Ag^(+))+underset(y)(Br^(-))`
`:. [Ag^(+)]=x+y,[SCN^(-)]=x` तथा `[Br^(-)]=y`
विलेयता गुणनफल के सिद्धान्तानुसार,
`[Ag^(+)][SCN^(-)]=K_(sp)=1xx10^(-12)`
यथार्थ `(x+y)x=1xx10^(-12)" "..(i)`
इसी प्रकार `[Ag^(+)][Br^(-)]=4xx10^(-13)" "...(ii)`
समीकरण (i) को समीकरण (ii) से भाग देने पर,
या `(x)/(y)=(1xx10^(-12))/(5xx10^(-13))=2`
या `x=2y" "....(iii)`
समीकरण (i) में `x=2y` रखने पर,
`(2y+y)2y=1xx10^(-12)`
`6y^(2)=1xx10^(-12)`
या `y=sqrt((1xx10^(-12))/(6))`
तथा `x=2y=2xx4.08xx10^(-7)=8.16xx10^(-7)"mol"L^(-1)`
अतः AgSCN तथा AgBr की एक साथ विलेयताएँ क्रमशः `8.16xx10^(-7)"mol"L^(-1)` तथा `4.08xx10^(-7)"mol"L^(-1)` है।
