अभिक्रिया `N_(2)(g)+3H_(2)(g)hArr2NH_(3)(g)` के लिए (500Kपर) साम्य स्थिरांक `K_(c)=0.061` है। एक विशेष समय पर मिश्रण का संघटन इस प्रकार है-
`3.0"mol"L^(-1)N_(2)," 2.0mol"L^(-1),H_(2)` एवं `0.5"mol" L^(-1)NH_(3)` क्या अभिक्रिया साम्य में है। यदि नहीं तो साम्य स्थापि करने के लिए अभिक्रिया किस दिशा में अग्रसित होगी ।

निर्दिष्ट दशाओं में
`Q_(c)=([NH_(3)(g)]^(2))/([N_(2)(g)][H_(2)(g)]^(3))=(0.500)/((3.00)xx(2.00)^(3))=0.021`
चुनी `Q_(c)ltK_(c)` अभिक्रिया में नहीं है। यह अग्र दिशा में सम्पन्न होगी
