Correct Answer - B::C
To make hard water soft, zeolite method is used. Sodium zeolite or sodium alumino silicate `(Na_(2)AI_(2)SiO_(3).xH_(2)O)` is used. It has a unique property of exchanging cations such as `Ca^(2+)` and `Mg^(2+)` in hard water for sodium ion.
