Correct Answer - B
We know that
`dQ=dU+dW`
Specific heat,
`C=(dQ)/(dT)=(dU)/(dT)+(dW)/(dT)` …(ii)
Since,
`dU=C_(V)dT` …(ii)
`C=C_(V)+(dW)/(dT)`
`=C_(V)+(pdT)/(dT)`
`p_V=RT`
`:.` For the given process, `V=(RT)/p=(RT^2)/a`
`(dV)/(dT)=(2RT)/a`
`:.C=C_V+p((2RT)/(a))`
`=C_V+2R`
`=3/2R+2R=7/2R`
