Two blocks connected by a spring rest on a smooth horizontal plane as shown in Fig. A constant force `F` start acting on block `m_2` as shown in the figure. Which of the following statements are not correct?
A. length of spring increases continuoulsy, if `m_(1)gtm_(2)`
B. block start performing SHM about centre of mass of the system with increasing amplitude.
C. blocks start performing SHM about centre of mass of the system which moves rectilinearly with constant acceleration

Correct Answer - C
In this case, a constant force F acts on the systme. So, the centre of mass of system moves with constant acceleration.
`a_(CM)=(F)/(m_(1)+m_(2))`
In the frame of centre of mass, particles execute SHM because force on each particles varies linearly.
