Given: 

R1 =15Ω 

R2 = 3Ω 

R3 = 4Ω

Effective resistance in series (Rs) = ?

Rs = R1 + R2 + R3 

Rs = 15 + 3 + 4 

Rs = 22Ω

The effective resistance in the circuit is 22Ω.
