Current is not a vector as:
1. The direction associated with the current is not a true direction but it merely indicates the sense of charge flow.
2. Current also does not obey the law of parallelogram of addition as if currents of 3 and 4 ampere are reaching a point, the resultant is always 7 ampere (like scalar addition ) whatever be the angle between the two .
3. Current is defined as scalar proudct of current density `hatj` with area d `vecs` i.e,
`I = int hati .d vecs`
Now, as scalar product and not a vector.
