Correct Answer - `50 J`
vertical velocity just before collision `v_(y) = sqrt(2gh) = sqrt(2 xx 10 xx 5) = 10 m//s`

`rArr` Kinetic energy of ball just after collision `= (1)/(2) xx 1 xx 10^(2) = 50 J`
