Best answer
Here, `C_(p) = 6.85 cal mol^(-1)K^(-1)`,
`R=8.31 mol^(-1) K^(-1)`
`:. R = 8.31/4.18 cal mol^(-1)K^(-1)`
`C_(V)=C_(p) - R = 6.85 - 1.988`
`=4.862 cal mol^(-1)K^(-1)`.
