Best answer

(i) y = 4

Comparing this equation with y = mx + c, we have:

Slope = m = 0

y-intercept = c = 4

(ii) ax − by = 0

⟹ by = ax ⟹ y = (a/b)x

Comparing this equation with y = mx + c, we have:

Slope = m = a/b

y-intercept = c = 0

(iii) 3x − 4y = 5 ⟹ 4y = 3x – 5 ⟹ y = (3/4)x - 5/4

Comparing this equation with y = mx + c, we have:

Slope = m = 3/4

y-intercept = c = -5/4
