Best answer
We know that frequency of a stretched wire
`(v)prop sqrt(tension(T)) or v =KT^(1//2)`
where K is a constant of proportionality.
From (i), we get `(Deltav)/(v)=(1)/(2)(DeltaT)/(T)`
or `(DeltaT)/(T)=2((Deltav)/(v))=2xx(5)/(500)=(1)/(50)`
`%` age increase in tension
`=(DeltaT)/(T)xx100=(1)/(50)xx100=2%`
