A man moves 4 m along east direction, then 3m along north direction, after that he climbs up a pole a height 12m. Find the distance covered by him and his displacement.

Distance `= 4+ 3+ 12 = 19` m
displacement = `sqrt(4^(2)+ 3^(2) + 12^(2)) = 13` m
