Best answer
The oordinates of the particle are
`x=at`
`y=bt^(2)`
substituting `t=(x)/(alpha)` from equation (i)
in equation (ii),
`y=b((x)/(a))^(2)`
or `y=(bx^(2))/(a^(2))`
