Two masses 500 g and 460g are suspended from the ends of a light string passing over a frictionless heavy pulley of radius 5cm. When released from rest the heavier mass is observed to fall 75cm in 5s. What is the rotational inertia of the pulley? ltbr. [Hint: When the pulley is heavy the tensions on the two slides are different.]
