A man walks in front of mirror along a line parallel.

To the mirror at a distance 2L from mirror as shown in the above figure. Distance upto which source is visible to man is

Answer is : (c) 3 m

From ray diagram,

Distance, AB = d+d+d = 3d

∴ Distance required = 3 m.
