Best answer
Correct Answer - c
For a given reaction
`2NO_((g)) + O_(2(g)) hArr 2NO_(2(g))`
Rate of reaction = `k[NO]^(2) [O_(2)]`
Rate of reaction directly proportional to concentration of the compound or inversely proportional to the volume of the vessel
i.e.` C prop (n)/(v)` lt brgt If volume of vessel is reduced by 1/3 rd of its initial value , then concentration of compound is increased by 3 times and consequently the rate of reaction by 27 times.
