Find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial x2−22​x and verify the relationship between the zeros and the coefficients.

x− 2√2​x = 0

⇒ ax+ bx + c

⇒ a = 1, b = −22​

x(x−22​) = 0

x = 0, 22​

∴ ∝ = 0, β = 22​
