Three advantages of planning are
(i) By stating in advance what is to be done, planning provides direction for action
(ii) Planning helps the manager to look into the future and thus, it facilitates decision-making
(iii) Planning establishes standards for controlling
Two limitations of planning are
(i) When plans are not implemented into action, they becomes meaningless, due to which an organisation suffers.
(ii) Planning is a time-consuming process.
