A bioreactor provides the optimal conditions for achieving the desired product the providing optimum growth conditions (temperature, pHm, substrate, salts, vitamins, oxygen). The stirrer facilitates even mixing and oxygen availability throughout the bioreactor. the most commonly used bioreactors are of stirring type.
