Here, u = 0, s= x, t = t
`"Using the relation, s "=ut+(1)/(2)at^(2)," we have x"=0+(1)/(2)at^(2)" …(i)"`
Let the body travel a distance y in next t seconds. The total distance travelled in `t+t=2t`
seconds will be `(x+y)`, So, `x+y=0+(1)/(2)a(2t)^(2)=(1)/(2)axx4t^(2)=2at^(2)" ...(ii)"`
Dividing (ii) by (i), we get
`(x+y)/(x)=4 rArr x+y=4xrArr y=3x`
