Best answer

i. (3x + 2x2 + 4x3) ÷ (x – 4)

Write the dividend in descending order of their indices.

3x + 2x2 + 4x3 = 4x3 + 2x2 + 3x

∴ Quotient = 4x2 + 18x + 75

Remainder = 300

ii. (2m3 + m2 + m + 9) ÷ (2m – 1)

∴ Quotient = m2 + m + 1

Remainder = 10
