यदि किसी कुण्डली में `1 "ऐम्पियर"//"सेकण्ड"` की दर से धारा - परिवर्तन होने पर 1 वोल्ट का विधुत वाहक बल प्रेरित हो, तो कुण्डली में स्व-प्रेरण गुणांक 1 हेनरी होगा ।
