(c) We Know that `P = V^2/R`
For constant value of potential difference (V) we have
` P prop 1/R`
Case (i)

Case (ii)
Clearly the equivalent resistance `(R_2)` will be less than
`1Omega.`
Case (iii)
Thus, `R_3 = 2Omega`
