We have find the frequency of emitted photons for emmission of photons the transition must take plaxce from a higher energy level to a lower energy which are given only in option (c ) and (d)
frequency is given by
`h v= - 13.6 ((1)/(n_(2)^(2)) - (1)/(n_(1)^(2)))`
for transition from `n = 6 to n = 2 `
` v_(1) = (-13.6)/(h) ((1)/(6^(2)) - (1)/(2^(2))) = (2)/(9) xx ((13.6)/(h))`
for transition from `n = 2 to n = 1 `
` v_(2) = (-13.6)/(h) ((1)/(2^(2)) - (1)/(1^(2))) = (3)/(4) xx ((13.6)/(h))`
`:. v_(1) - v_(2)`
