Correct Answer - 1
`I_(2)` being weaker oxidising agent than `CI_(2)`, cannot oxidise KCI to `CI_(2)`. However, `KCIO_(3)` is a stronger oxidising agent than `I_(2)`, it oxidiese `I_(2)` to `IO_(3)^(Theta)`.
