Best answer
Here, `m=6.65xx10^-27kg`,
`q=+2e=+2xx1.6xx10^-19C`,
`v=6xx10^5ms^-1`, `B=0.2T`, `theta=90^@`
Force on the `alpha`-particle in the magnetic field is
`F=qv B sin theta=(2xx1.6xx10^-19)xx(6xx10^5)xx0.2xxsin90^@`
`=3.84xx10^-14N`
Acceleration of the `alpha`-particle `=F/m=(3.84xx10^14)/(6.65xx10^-27)`
`=5.77xx10^(12)ms^-1`
