Best answer
The displacement amplitude decrease `eta` times every `n` oscillations . Thus
`(1)/(eta)=e^(-beta.(2pi)/(omega).n)`
or ` (2pin beta)/(omega)=i n eta` or `(beta)/(omega)=(1n eta)/(2pi n ). `
`Q=( omega)/(2 beta)=( pi n )/( 1n eta)~~ 499`
