आरहीनियस समीकरण के अनुसार
`logK=logA-E_a/(2.303RT)" "...(1)`
दिया गया समीकरण
`logK=14.34-(1.25xx10^4)/T" "...(2)`
दोनों समीकरणों की तुलना करने पर
`E_a/(2.303RT)=(1.25xx10^4(K))/T`
या `E_a=1.25xx10^4(K)xx2.303xx8.314xx10^(-3)`
(ii) `t_(1//2)=256min=256xx0sec`
`K=(0.693)/(256xx60)=4.51xx10^(-5)" सेकण्ड"^(-1)`
समीकरण (2) में K का मान रखने पर
`log4.51xx10^(-5)=1434-(1.25xx10^4(K))/T`
या `-4.35=14.34-(1.25xx10^4(K))/T`
या `4.35+1434=(1.25xx10^4(K))/T`
या T=669K
