निम्न समीकरण में,
`4NH_(3)(g)+5O_(2)(g)to4NO(g)6H_(2)O(l)`
`becauseNH_(3)` के 4 मोल के लिए `O_(2)` के 5 मोल की आवश्यकता होती है |
`:.NH_(3)` के 1 मोल के लिए आवश्यक
ऑक्सीजन `=(5)/(4)=1.25` मोल
अतः सारे ऑक्सीजन का उपभोग हो जाता है ।
