Four metallic plates are sued to form two identical parallel plate capacitors as shown is the figure. Initially all plates were unchanged. Two batteries are connected to two capacitors `x` & `y` are equidistant from two plates. The magnitude of work done by electric field in moving electron from `x` to `y` is `WeV`. Correct Answer - 7
Charge on each capacitor is
`q=(3C)/2`
Electric field between plates `=q/(Aepsilon_(0))`image
`V_(x)+(Ed)/2-5+(Ed)/2=V_(y)`
`V_(y)-V_(x)=Ed-5`
`=q/(epsilon_(0)A)d-5=q/C-5=(3C//2)/C-5=3/2-5`
`=-3.5V`
`V_("el")=q(V_(y)-V_(x))=(-e)(-3.5)`
