Correct Answer - A
(a) The inheritance due to the genes found in cytoplasm (mitochondira and chloroplast) is called cytoplasmic inheritance or non-Mendelian inheritance. The leaves of Mirabilis jalapa may be green, white or varigated. This is due to plastid inheritance.
