Best answer
For open pipe,
Given : l = 47 cm, inner diameter = 5 cm, and v = 348 m/s
Fundamental frequency,
`because" "n=(v)/(2L)`
For pipe open at both ends, corrected length of air column,
`L=l+2e`
`=l+2(0.3d)" "[because e=0.3d]`
`=l+0.6d`
`:." "n=(v)/(2(l+0.6d))`
`implies" "n=(348)/(2(0.47+0.6xx5xx10^(-2)))`
`implies" "n=348" Hz"`
