माना कि तीन दी हुई बिन्दुएँ P, Q तथा R है जिनके स्थिति सदिश क्रमश : `vec(A), vec(B), vec(C)` हैं |
दिया है : `vec(A)=vec(a)-2vec(b)+3vec(c),vec(B)=2vec(a)+3vec(b)-4vec(c)`
तथा `" "vec(C)=-7vec(b)+10vec(c)`
अब `vec(A)xxvec(B)=3vec(a)xxvec(b)-4vec(a)xxvec(c)-4vec(b)xxvec(a)+8vec(b)xxvec(c)+6vec(c)xxvec(a)+9vec(c)xxvec(b)`
`=7vec(a)xxvec(b)-vec(b)xxvec(c)+10vec(c)xxvec(a)=7vec(lambda)-vec(alpha)+10vec(beta)`,
जहाँ `" "vec(alpha)=vec(b)xxvec(c),vec(beta)=vec(c)xxvec(a),vec(lambda)=vec(a)xxvec(b)`
उसी तरह `vec(B)xxvec(C)=-14vec(lambda)+2vec(alpha)-20vec(beta)`
तथा `" "vec(C)xxvec(A)=7vec(lambda)-vec(alpha)+10vec(beta)`.
