Explanation :

Abscisic acid promotes reversal of H+ ⇋K+ pump and increasing availability of Hinside tire guard cell cytoplasm. Loss of K+ decreases osmotic concentration of guard cells as compared to adjacent epidermal cells. Due to the exosmosis the turgidity of guard cells decreases and it closes the pore of stoma.
