एक 200 mH को शुद्ध प्रेरकवत एवं `5muF` का शुद्ध संधारित्र एक के बाद एक A. C. वोल्टेज स्र्तोत `V=70.7sin(1000t)` वोल्ट से जोड़ा जाता है, तब प्रत्येक स्थिति में धारा के लिए व्यंजक व्युत्पन्न कीजिए।

इस समीकरण की तुलना `V=V_(0)sinomegat` से करने पर
`V_(0)-70.7` वोल्ट एवं `omega=1000s^(-1)`
(i) जब प्रेरकत्व परिपथ में हो तब धारा का शिखर मान `(I_(0))`
`I_(0)=(V_(0))/(X_(L))=(V_(0))/(omegaL)`
`=(70.7)/(1000xx200xx10^(-3))`
`I_(0)=0.3535A`
तथा तात्क्षाणिक धारा `I=I_(0)sin(omegat-(pi)/(2))`
`=0.3535sin(1000t-(pi)/(2))A.`
(ii) जब परिपथ में संधारित्र को संयोजित किया गया हो तब धारा का शिखर मान `I_(0)=(V_(0))/(X_(c))=V_(0)omegaC`
`I_(0)=70.0xx1000xx5xx10^(-6)`
`=0.3535A`
तथा तात्क्षाणिक धारा `I=I_(0)sin(omegat+(pi)/(2))`
`=0.3535sin(1000t+(pi)/(2))A`.
