जब `K_(1)` को लंबे समय तक बंद रखते है जिससे R -L परिपथ में `I_(0)` घटने लगती है तथा t समय में प्रवाहित धारा `I=I_(o)e^(-(t)/(TL))" जहाँ "t=(L)/(R)`
`:.I=I_(0)e^(-(Rt)/(L))`
`I=0.1e^(-(0.15xx10^(3)xx10^(-3))//0.03)`
`=0.1e^(-5)`
`=(0.1)/(150)`
`6.67xx10^(-4)A`
=0.67mA
