दिया है --- `phi_0 = 4*2 eV`
` lamda = 330 nm = 330 xx 10^(-9) m `
सूत्र --- `E=(hc)/lamda = (6*63 xx10^(-34) xx 3 xx 10^8)/(330 xx 10^(-9)) J`
` = (6*63 xx 10^(-17) xx 3)/(330 xx 1*6 xx 10^(-19))eV`
`=3*76 eV`
चूँकि आपतित फोटोन की ऊर्जा धातु के कार्यफलन से कम है अतः पृष्ठ से इलेक्ट्रॉन उत्सर्जित नहीं होंगे |
