Explanation

Ozone is found rn the upper part of the atmosphere called stratosphere and it acts as a shield absorbing ultraviolet radiation from the sun. So its depletion can lead to the incidence of skin cancers caused by harmful solar radiations which will reach earth in the absence of O3 layer.
