Six point one three.

Here 6 is in the units place. 

Hence, its place value is 6 x 1 = 6

1 is in tenths place. 

Hence, its place value is \(1\times\frac{1}{10}=0.1\)

3 is in the hundredths place.

Its place value is 3 x \(\frac{1}{100}\)

= 0.03 100

ii. 48.84

Fourty eight point eight four

Place value of 4 is 4 x 10 = 40 and of 8, it is 8 x 1 = 8

Place value of 8 is 8 x \(\frac{1}{10}=\frac{8}{10}\) = 0.8 and

Place value of 4 is 4 x \(\frac{1}{100}=\frac{4}{100}\) = 0.04
