General equation of plane progressive wave is given by
`y=a sin (kx+omega t)` ...(i)
Given equation
`y=0.0015 sin (62.4 x+316 t)` ...(ii)
Comparing Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
`k=62.4`
`:. (2pi)/lambda=62.4`
`lambda=(2pi)/62.4=0.1` unit
