Best answer

Correct option is: B)\(\frac8{17}\)

There are 5 red marbles, 8 white marbles and 4 green marbles in the box

\(\therefore\) Total marbles in the box = 5 + 8 + 4 = 17

The probability that taken out marble be white is

P = \(\frac {Total \,white \,marbles}{Total \,No.\, of\, marbles \,in\, the\, box}\) = \(\frac8{17}\)
