Best answer
Correct Answer - B
There is no effect of peroxide on the addition of HCl to an alkene. As the addition is electrophilic, the intermediate formed is a `2^(@)` carbocation (which is more stable than the `1^(@)` carbocation).
`underset("Propene")(CH_(3)-CH)=CH_(2)overset(+H^(+))rarr underset(2^(@)-"carbocation")(CH_(3)-overset(+)(C )H_(2)-CH_(3))`
