Correct option is (D) x2 – x – 2 = 0

Given that two roots of the quadratic equation are 2 and -1.

\(\therefore\)  Required quadratic equation is

(x - 2) (x+1) = 0

\(\Rightarrow x^2-2x+x-2=0\)

\(\Rightarrow x^2-x-2=0\)
